Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and offering solutions to meet their needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the deli department, by adhering to company standards and guidelines.
  • Ensure that all products are displayed and merchandised to meet company standards, including rotating stock, facing merchandise, and maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
  • Support the deli department by assisting with tasks such as slicing, cutting, and preparing products, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Develop product knowledge in various areas of the department, including deli meats, cheeses, and prepared foods.
  • Perform all assigned cleaning functions in accordance with company policy, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing equipment and surfaces.
  • Assist in training other associates and perform other functions as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and support colleagues as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally, as well as stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work in a cold environment and tolerate working in hot temperatures for up to 20 minutes at a time.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.
