Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled nursing assessments and direct care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Administer medications and treatments, monitor resident progress, and coordinate care with assigned staff.
  • Function as a charge nurse and/or floor nurse, overseeing daily operations and ensuring seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of our care services and patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alaska.
  • Minimum one year of experience in Gerontology, preferably in a Long Term Care facility.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive information, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and IV therapy competency.
