Job Title: Travel MRI Technologist

Focus Staff is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Travel MRI Technologist to join our team. As a Travel MRI Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings and locations, utilizing your expertise to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented MRI Technologist to work on a travel assignment in Louisville, Kentucky. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in magnetic resonance imaging, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Under the direction of the Chief of Radiology and the Imaging Services Director, perform related technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care.
  • Interview patients to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures and address their concerns.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
  • Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
Requirements:
  • Two years of continuous recent experience as a MRI Technologist, with proficiency in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
  • License in the required state.
  • BLS certification.
  • Knowledge of MRI protocols and procedures.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
