The American Academy of Ophthalmology is seeking a distinguished Neuro-Ophthalmologist to enhance our esteemed department. The appointment will be aligned with the candidate's academic achievements and professional experience.

Essential Qualifications:

  1. M.D. or equivalent medical degree
  2. Completion of an accredited residency in either ophthalmology or neurology
  3. Fellowship training specifically in neuro-ophthalmology
  4. Eligibility for licensure in Texas
  5. Board certification or eligibility through the American Board of Ophthalmology or the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology

We are open to considering candidates interested in part-time opportunities. The selected individual will participate in the clinical management of patients within our neuro-ophthalmology practice, as well as contribute to the educational training of residents and fellows. A passion for clinical or translational research, along with an interest in comprehensive or subspecialty surgical ophthalmology, is appreciated but not mandatory.
