We are seeking a highly skilled Laborer Technician to join our team at Wells Concrete.
Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
About the JobThis is a unique opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced construction environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in various aspects of concrete production, including mixing, pouring, and finishing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the operation of overhead gantry cranes
- Read shop tickets (like blueprints) and interpret measurements and applications of specific hardware
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Collaborate with other laborers to ensure efficient job completion
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read a tape measure with absolute accuracy
- Prior experience in construction/building trades (helpful but not required)
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
