Science Teacher

Jefferson RISE Charter School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Middle/High School Science Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our educational community, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a standards-aligned, Tier I science curriculum that meets the diverse needs of all students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement engaging and effective lesson plans that incorporate best practices and innovative teaching strategies.
• Continuously improve instructional practices based on feedback from students, colleagues, and instructional coaches.
• Utilize data-driven approaches to assess and enhance student learning and achievement.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners and ensure all students have access to the curriculum.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Content area certification (preferred).
• Technological proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint as well as other web-based applications.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High level of personal organization and planning.
