This is an exciting opportunity to join US Foods as a CDL Permit Trainee - Entry Level. As a member of our team, you will assist designated drivers in route completion, learn all aspects of the job, and develop your skills in logistics and transportation.
Responsibilities:- Assist designated drivers in route completion and learn all aspects of the job.
- Maintain satisfactory feedback from instructors and driver/coaches during the classroom, yard skills, and on-the-road driving portion of the training program.
- Successfully enroll in CDL school and obtain a CDL permit license within the first 45 days of the training program.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to use, or learn to use, all equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) i.e., XATA, POD, and tools used to perform the job.
- Must be able to perform all job functions safely.
