Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Operate a tractor trailer combination to transport freight to various locations
  • Load and unload freight using manual and motorized equipment
  • Verify documentation and ensure accurate tracking of freight
  • Assist with freight handling and storage in the warehouse
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Must possess a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or a commercial learning permit (CLP)
  • Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
  • Must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulatory requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, as well as sit for extended periods of time
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills
Working Conditions

Exposure to noise and vibration, dust and diesel fumes, and hazardous materials shipped and packaged under DOT regulations. Hours may vary due to operational need.
