Job Summary:The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and medical history.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in nursing care.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
- Minimum of 2 years of full-time experience as a RN post-orientation or post-residency training.
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) credential.
