Key qualifications for this role include:
- A graduate degree and certification from an accredited physician assistant program
- At least two years of outpatient clinical experience as a Physician Assistant, with a proven ability to work autonomously and provide care without physician supervision
- Comfortable treating adult patients and conducting comprehensive or episodic health history and physical assessments
- A current, unrestricted license to practice in the state or eligibility for licensure
- Active DEA registration or eligibility for registration
- Active Medicare/Medicaid enrollment or eligibility to enroll
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, preferably Athena
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
