Shift Details:
Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Key Skills Required:
Travel RNs, local CNAs, and sitters are highly sought after.
Job Requirements:
Must possess TNCC, PALS, BLS, and ACLS certifications. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in ER nursing is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Trauma Level 1 or 2 facilities is advantageous.
Schedule Information:
- Day Shift: 1 CNC, 6 Nurses & EMT at 0700 with additional midshift staff arriving at various times throughout the day.
- Night Shift: 1 CNC, 6 nurses, 1 EMT, and 1 Medic at 1900 with midshifters departing at different intervals during the shift.
Patient Ratios:
4 patients per nurse.
Unit Specific Information:
Emergency Department 787
Number of Beds: 40
Approximate Staff: 65
Team Composition:
Mix of RNs, EMTs, and Paramedics.
Equipment Utilized:
Standard ER equipment including IV pumps, EV1000, EKG machines, ultrasound machines, GE monitors, transport monitors, Level 1 devices, etc.
Electronic Medical Records:
Meditech- EDM.
Typical Procedures:
List of common procedures performed in the unit.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
We seek an experienced ER nurse who is a collaborative team player, self-driven, and ambitious.
Additional Information:
This facility is a Trauma Level 3 hospital, recognized as a chest pain center, primary stroke center, and the only sepsis certified center in Colorado. It features a dedicated Pediatric ER staffed with Pediatricians throughout the day.
