Job Overview

The Facility Maintenance Specialist is tasked with ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility's interior.

Daily Responsibilities:
  • Polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
  • Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
  • Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors.
  • Dusts furniture and equipment.
  • Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
  • Cleans windows, door panels, and sills.
  • Empties wastebaskets.
  • Transports trash and waste to disposal areas.
  • Replenishes bathroom supplies.
  • Sets up tables and chairs in auditoriums or halls.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications for Success:
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with safety policies.
  • Regular and prompt attendance is essential.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Maintain a neat professional appearance in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Ensure safety and security of company assets.
  • Utilize all company-provided resources and technology effectively.
  • Less than high school education; or up to 1 month of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to be adaptable and self-motivated.
  • Frequent standing and walking.
  • Regular stair climbing, grasping, pushing/pulling, fine motor skills, and lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent exposure to water, chemicals, and varying weather conditions.
