Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Avionics Repair Operations Director to join our team at Ventura Aviation. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our repair station, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and driving profitability.

This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and business acumen to manage both personnel and repair processes effectively. You will lead a team of technicians, inspectors, and administrative personnel, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the repair station.

The ideal candidate will have FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role within a repair station or MRO environment. In-depth knowledge of FAA regulations, Part 145 Repair Station operations, and aircraft maintenance processes is essential. Strong leadership and team management skills, along with excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities, are also required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management: Ensure the repair station maintains certifications and complies with all local, state, and federal aviation regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the repair station.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Work with clients to ensure their needs are understood and fulfilled, maintaining high customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Estimated Salary: $150,000-$190,000 based on experience.
