Job Summary

The CT Technologist plays a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients at Medical City Arlington. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized imaging procedures using computerized tomography (CT) technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist and position patients on the CT table to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Start IVs for contrast injection and perform other necessary procedures to obtain high-quality images.
  • Assess image quality and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal results.
  • Release patients with proper post-procedure instructions and ensure a smooth transition to the next step in their care.
  • Turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and maintain a clean and sterile environment.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Current License as an MRT (Radiologic Technologist) by the State of Texas.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (CT) certification.
  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
