Job Description: Cardiovascular Rad Technologist

The Cardiovascular Rad Technologist plays a crucial role in preparing and assisting with cardiovascular procedures in a state-of-the-art facility. This individual must hold relevant certifications and demonstrate a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepares equipment before and during procedures
  • Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff
  • Uses downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks assigned by the Charge person or manager
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
  • Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care
