We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paralegal to join our team at Summit County Children Services. As a Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting the Legal Department by preparing and organizing various legal documents and maintaining all legal records and files for SCCS.

About the Role:

  • Provide technical and administrative support to the Legal Department.
  • Prepare and organize various legal documents.
  • Maintain all legal records and files for SCCS.
  • Work respectfully and effectively with people of all cultures, classes, races, genders, ethnic backgrounds, religions, sexual orientations, mental and physical abilities, ages, and appearances.

Requirements:

  • Two-year degree in Legal Assisting, Paralegal Studies, or 2nd year law student.
  • Two years of office/administrative experience required; prior legal experience and one year of experience working in a child welfare or social services agency preferred.
  • A valid Ohio Driver's License with no more than six (6) points and use of an insured vehicle are required for this position.
