Position Overview

VieMed Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Credentialing: Anticipated timeline of 90 days.
  • Compensation: Competitive hourly rates offered.
  • Team Structure: Operate within a 2 MD model.
  • Staffing: Collaborate with 2 Physicians and 4 CRNAs.
  • Work Schedule: MDs will work on a rotation of 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off.
  • Supervision: Medically supervise CRNAs during procedures.
Facility Details
  • Operating Rooms: 4 ORs, 1 Endoscopy room, and 1 OB OR.
  • Post-Anesthesia Care Unit: 7 beds available.
  • Pre-Operative Area: 8 beds available.
  • Case Types: General B&B, OB cases.
Surgeon Collaboration

Work alongside a diverse team of surgeons including:

  • 2 General Surgeons
  • 2 Gastric Surgeons
  • Podiatrist (10 cases/month)
  • ENT (12 cases/month)
  • 2 Urologists (10 cases/month each)
  • Ophthalmologist (10 cataracts every Wednesday)
Pediatric Cases

Minimal involvement with healthy pediatric cases (ENT).

Obstetrics

Currently, there is 1 physician handling deliveries per month, with ongoing recruitment for an additional physician.
