Position Overview...
As a Pastry Artist, you will enhance member satisfaction in your section by providing them with delightful baked goods, ensuring they receive exceptional value. You will collaborate with fellow team members to guarantee that the overall experience meets the expectations of our members.

Key Responsibilities...

• Team Collaboration: Works alongside diverse teams and assists in educating colleagues on tools, tasks, and resources; develops communication and interpersonal skills to deliver outstanding customer service; remains adaptable to business needs; maintains stock levels; and manages inventory loss.
• Expertise in Baking: Organizes bakery production; ensures consistency in quality and precision of decorative designs; adheres to recipe guidelines; utilizes various tools (such as decorating bags, tips, and nozzles) to craft intricate designs and lettering on baked goods; follows food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and inventory practices; operates and cleans equipment; and demonstrates a solid understanding of product presentation.
• Technological Proficiency: Utilizes digital tools to boost sales, enhance the shopping experience, and improve team engagement; employs handheld technology for immediate decision-making related to production, ordering, training, and product quality with a focus on member satisfaction; embraces new tools and encourages others to adopt them.
• Ownership of Responsibilities: Oversees the performance of the bakery section; ensures quality and date control standards; minimizes waste; prepares for seasonal events that may affect bakery demand (such as holidays and family gatherings); identifies member preferences; assists members in making informed purchasing choices; and addresses member inquiries and concerns.
• Brand Representation: Acts as a brand ambassador by prioritizing the member experience in the bakery and exemplifying high-quality service and products; engages with team members to identify challenges and aids in training; motivates and inspires colleagues to work in a respectful, supportive, and collaborative manner.
• Adheres to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards by implementing relevant action plans; utilizing the Open Door Policy; and applying these principles in executing business processes.
• Completes tasks and priorities by leveraging policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, colleagues, customers, and other partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; executing tasks; communicating progress and information; proposing solutions for improvement opportunities; and adapting to change, challenges, and feedback.

The hourly wage range for this role is $20.00 to $27.00*

*The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage requirements applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Extra compensation in the form of premiums may be offered, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour under specific circumstances. Premiums may depend on scheduling, facility, seasonality, or specific tasks performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are satisfied.
