Tax Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at RSM US LLP. As a Tax Manager, you will play a key role in providing exceptional client service and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Advise clients on a full spectrum of tax services, including structuring and modeling, succession planning, wealth transfer planning, and tax compliance.
- Manage and oversee engagement teams focused on entity, individual, fiduciary, and gift/estate taxation.
- Collaborate with RSM specialists on estate and gift planning and taxation, state and local taxation, and international taxation.
- Provide leadership, training, and career mentorship to staff and supervisor-level team members.
- Drive and collaborate with senior leadership on growth opportunities with existing clients and prospects.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients and other professional advisors through a commitment to outstanding client service.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a business-related field.
- CPA, EA, or JD required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in public accounting or a family office with an emphasis on taxation.
- Proficient in at least one area: entity, individual, and fiduciary taxation, with an understanding of complex investments and related tax implications.
- Familiar with multi-state taxation.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to work in a collaborative team and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with private client or business taxation with a desire to grow skills in the private client family office arena.
- Experience working with family office clients or experience working in a family office.
- Experience with gift and estate taxation.

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions, including education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
