As a Phlebotomist I, you will play a vital role in our team by performing phlebotomy procedures, collecting and processing specimens, and providing a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform phlebotomy procedures on adult and pediatric patients using aseptic protocols and proper labeling procedures.
  • Monitor collection supply inventory and order supplies as necessary.
  • Receive patients professionally and courteously using AIDET and positive patient experience tools.
  • Process specimens, perform centrifugation, and prepare them for reference lab transportation.
  • Maintain a clean patient and working environment.

Requirements:

  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • National Phlebotomy Certification or qualified to sit for phlebotomy certification exam preferred.
  • Prior experience as a Phlebotomist or an equivalent combination of graduation from a certified phlebotomy school coupled with work experience in a healthcare field preferred.
