Key Responsibilities
  • Greet Guests: Welcome guests in a timely, positive, and friendly manner.
  • Provide Exceptional Service: Deliver exceptional service to customers while maintaining high standards of service.
  • Serve Food and Beverage: Efficiently serve food and beverage in all areas of the Sports Bar, following the sequence of service standards set forth by management.
  • Food and Beverage Knowledge: Possess complete food and beverage knowledge of all products served.
  • Responsible Alcohol Service: Adhere to all responsible alcohol serving requirements as dictated by the state.
  • Handle Monetary Transactions: Handle monetary transactions at the point of sales system (cash, credit cards, and room charges) in accordance with department policies and procedures.
  • Keep Sports Bar Clean: Keep Sports Bar neat and orderly by disposing of trash and removing glassware, dishware, and silverware no longer in use.
  • Communicate with Fellow Employees: Communicate with fellow employees and Managers regarding Guest requests.
  • Deliver Exceptional Service: Consistently deliver exceptional service to every Guest while interacting in a professional manner.
  • Positive Attitude: Possess a positive attitude towards the Guest and fellow employees to meet and exceed TI Sports Bar standards.
  • Knowledge of Business: Know all aspects of our business and match it to the Guest's needs to exceed their expectations.
  • Maintain a Clean and Hygienic Work Station: Maintain a clean and hygienic work station in accordance with Clark County Health Standards.
  • Teamwork: Possess the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Flexibility: Maintain flexibility to perform other job-related tasks as deemed necessary by management.
  • Work Station Maintenance: Work station must be maintained and left stocked in the proper location and cleaned for next shift.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to perform a task that requires standing and/or moving at a fast pace for periods of up to eight hours or longer.
  • Communication: Communicate with Management to keep them informed of all special requests from a Guest as well as any potential problems or concerns.
  • Training and Support: Assist new employees with training and answering questions.
  • Quality Service Standards: Maintain quality service standards with all Guests by creating a friendly, relaxed atmosphere while coordinating all service requests.
  • Food and Beverage Delivery: Deliver food and beverage orders to Guests in a timely manner.
  • Guest Requests: Fulfill Guest requests in a timely manner and assist Guests with special requests.
  • Special Events: Work special events as needed for successful operation of department.
Qualifications
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year previous cocktail experience required.
  • Age: Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Physical Condition: Good athletic physical condition/body strength necessary; must project a slender, toned/fit body image at all times.
  • Uniform: Uniform will be provided by Treasure Island.
  • Hotel/Bar Experience: High volume hotel/bar and restaurant experience preferred.
  • Publicity and Modeling: Must be available for publicity shoots, public appearances, modeling, other advertising, and promotional work as needed.
  • Attitude and Communication: Must have an excellent upbeat attitude with the ability to interact with people of diverse backgrounds.
  • Beverage Knowledge: Must have basic beverage and beverage serving knowledge.
  • Language Skills: Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
