About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Johnston-Willis Hospital, a 300-bed acute care hospital and Level III Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality imaging services, utilizing their expertise in radiation safety and patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Demonstrate exceptional skills in obtaining quality CT images of patients, adhering to established scanning protocols and adjusting as needed.
- Comply with radiation safety guidelines, ensuring both patient and self-protection.
- Operate the CT scanner safely and competently, utilizing Personal Protective Equipment as required.
- Perform all necessary computer operations, including entering proper charges and verifying referring physicians' orders.
- Render patient care in a professional and courteous manner, preparing examination rooms for CT scans and invasive procedures.
- Graduate of AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Current licensure and certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT - CT Technology Certification).
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
- One year of experience as a CT technologist in a hospital setting.
