The ideal candidate for the HR Specialist role will possess experience in the states of MA and CT. This position will primarily be based at our Longmeadow campus, with occasional support required for our CT location. The HR Specialist will oversee the daily operations of the Human Resources department, providing a wide range of support that includes, but is not limited to, recruitment and onboarding, data management, compliance, payroll administration, benefits coordination, and the enforcement of company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated experience as an HR Specialist, ideally within the healthcare sector.
  • Administration of employee benefits, compensation, and related HR initiatives.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems; familiarity with ADP and payroll/timekeeping tools.
  • Strong grasp of HR best practices and employment regulations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with care.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer service.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Respectful, approachable, and team-oriented, fostering positive workplace relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds.
