POSITION OVERVIEW:

Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate residents' needs, create personalized care plans, deliver nursing services, assess the effectiveness of care, and oversee nursing assistants and other staff in providing quality nursing care. This oversight must align with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as the standards set by the Director of Nursing Services or their representative, ensuring that we maintain the highest quality of care at all times. Adherence to health, sanitation, and infection control policies is essential, as is compliance with established nursing practices.

Qualifications:

  • Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Proficient in English with the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute verbal and written directives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and community staff.
  • Competence in observing proper safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Willingness to work scheduled hours as required by the position.
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in long-term care is preferred but not mandatory.
