About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at the National Health Foundation. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of our recuperative care facility, responding to any incidents or concerns as needed.
  • Guest Support: Provide a warm and welcoming environment for our guests, responding to their requests and needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Room Checks: Conduct daily room checks to ensure the cleanliness and safety of our guest rooms.
  • Guest Orientation: Ensure that all guests receive a detailed orientation to our facility, including information about our services and amenities.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate record keeping and activity reports, as required by our facility.
  • Facility Inspections: Conduct daily facility and equipment inspections to ensure that our facility is safe and well-maintained.
  • Guest Feedback: Develop rapport with our guests and gather feedback to improve our services and amenities.
  • Meal Support: Facilitate and monitor guest meals and kitchen duties, ensuring that our guests receive nutritionally balanced meals.
  • Concern Resolution: Respond to and provide positive intervention encounters for guest concerns, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with our team to ensure the smooth operation of our facility.
  • Guest Care: Assist guests with basic activities of daily living, such as setting up meals, assisting with personal care, and providing support with mobility and transfers.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with our guests, staff, and visitors, using clear and respectful language.
Requirements
  • CNA Certification: Must hold an active CNA certification, with a successful completion of a CNA program and California State Certification.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years caregiver experience in a healthcare or recuperative care environment, preferably in a similar role.
  • Skills: Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks effectively and efficiently, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Licensure: Valid CA driver's license required.
  • Certifications: Current American Heart Association CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required.
