Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Medical Assistant to support our lab services across multiple locations in the Fort Worth area. As a Floating Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with phlebotomy, injections, and other medical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to assigned locations in the Fort Worth area as needed.
  • Perform phlebotomy and administer injections (B12, Flu, etc.).
  • Maintain patient records, laboratory logs, testing logs, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Follow established protocols for sample collection, handling, and processing.
  • Provide patients with information and education regarding lab tests and results.
  • Ensure cleanliness and readiness of equipment and examination rooms.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operation across all locations.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, empathy, and customer service.
  • Maintain customer confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

Requirements:
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
  • Two years of recent phlebotomy experience.
  • Ability to work across multiple locations with reliable transportation.
  • Knowledge of common clinical tests.
  • Desire to continually learn about the tests that we offer.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Flexibility with scheduling, including some Saturdays.
