We're Seeking a Passionate Toy Design Leader

Key Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead the ideation process and contribute to the development of innovative new toy concepts.
  • Lead all aspects of product design, from initial strategy and ideation through engineering execution and final production.
  • Manage a dedicated project load, driving planning and problem-solving to bring product concepts to life.
  • Create compelling design concepts, 3D models, prototypes, drawings, and specifications that provide clear direction for manufacturing partners.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless communication of design files and specifications, ensuring development goals are met.
  • Work closely with team leads to manage project schedules and ensure on-time delivery of products.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Toy Design or Industrial Design.
  • Minimum 8 years of professional design experience within the toy or children's product industry.
  • Proven track record of designing successful products for the toy market.
  • Strong drawing and rendering skills using Sketchbook Pro and Photoshop. Proficiency in 2D visual communication is essential, including comfort working with a Cintiq tablet.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a business-oriented mindset.
  • Unwavering passion for toys and children's products.
  • In-depth knowledge of current toy industry trends, leading brands, products, and emerging innovations.
  • Experience communicating effectively with daily manufacturing partners.
  • Proficiency in all phases of the design process, from preliminary concepts to development and production.
  • Collaborative mindset and appreciation for teamwork.
