Job Description

Saxon Global is seeking a skilled Database Developer to create a database in Microsoft Access for its Assessment programs. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of database design and development using Microsoft Access, as well as experience with SQL, ADO, and Agile methodology.

The Database Developer will be responsible for gathering user requirements, normalizing data, creating database models, forms, queries, and reports. This is an excellent opportunity to work on-site in Austin, TX, two days a week, and contribute to the success of Saxon Global's projects.

Requirements
  • Strong database design and development knowledge using Microsoft Access
  • Strong SQL skills and ability to write complex queries, join tables, and load data from spreadsheets
  • Ability to access and query databases using ADO (Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects)
  • Strong knowledge of database normalization and ability to create forms, reports, and queries in Microsoft Access
  • Strong communications skills and experience in Agile methodology
