Financial Performance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Financial Performance Specialist to join our team at Career Strategies, INC. As a key member of our financial team, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing program budgeting and identifying potential financial risks.
About the Job
This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with program managers and other stakeholders to drive financial success. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in FP&A/programs and a strong background in finance and accounting.
Responsibilities
• Analyze and optimize program budgeting to ensure financial success
• Identify and assess project financial risks
• Develop and implement financial models, project cost controls, and ROI analysis
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support
• Collaborate with program managers and other stakeholders to drive financial success
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and reports
The salary for this role is approximately $110-$130K depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, paid time off, and a 401K plan. Requirements
Recommended Experience/Education:
• Min 2+ years of FP&A/programs experience
• BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related quantitative majors
• Experience in costing NRE in the Military and/or Space industry
• Manufacturing and BOM Costing experience
• Recommended Skills/Requirements:
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to create complex financial models and reports
• Excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to effectively interact at all levels within the organization and with external customers.
• Must have advanced proficiency with MS Excel and Midsize ERP Systems
• Must have advanced knowledge of dynamic array formulas in MS Excel
• Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently
• Detail-Oriented skills
• Can display a positive attitude in discussion, including if there are conflicts
