About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Mercy Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the expansion of our ICU services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Maintain professional accountability for the provision of patient care, ensuring that patients receive safe and effective care.
  • Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
  • Coordinate patient care with other departments, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
  • Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure, meeting all state board of nursing requirements.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
