Role Summary: As a Neonatal Intensive Care RN, you will be responsible for delivering critical care to premature and ill newborns. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that each newborn receives the highest standard of care.
Essential Duties:
- Utilize the nursing process to provide direct patient care.
- Oversee and coordinate care for assigned patients, ensuring their treatment is secure and effective.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Monitor and assess the health needs of both patients and their families.
- Provide respiratory support and manage IVs and feeding for NICU patients.
- Document and communicate patient responses to treatment and care interventions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in emergency or critical care settings.
- Experience in pediatric care is preferred.
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP are required.
