Job Summary

The Clinical/Staff Pharmacist is responsible for coordinating the provision of high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients at Frye Regional Medical Center. This includes drug distribution and clinical activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret medication orders and transcribe to patient medication profiles accurately
  • Monitor drug therapy regimens for contraindications, duplications, and interactions
  • Compound and dispense medications, including sterile compounds and chemotherapy
  • Review laboratory data for therapy appropriateness and recommend changes
  • Interact with patients, healthcare providers, and prescribers
  • Document clinical activities and interventions accurately
  • Participate in quality improvement and medication use review activities
