Outpatient Dietitian

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nutritionist to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our Intensive Cardiac Rehabilitation Program, you will play a vital role in providing expert nutrition education and counseling to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement nutritional treatment plans for patients with cardiac conditions, including CAD, CHF, metabolic syndrome, diabetes, and weight management.
- Provide expert nutrition education and counseling to patients and their families, both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Conduct Pritikin nutritional workshops and cooking school workshops to promote healthy eating habits.
- Assess patient nutritional status and develop personalized plans to address areas of nutritional deficit or excess.
- Bachelor's degree in nutrition/dietetics or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred.
- Completion of an approved hospital dietetic internship program or its equivalent.
- Registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration is required.
- Two or more years of progressively more responsible experience in lifestyle change management, preferably in a cardiac rehabilitation setting.
