About the Role

As a Bus Monitor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our students. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing Operational Oversight: You will work closely with our drivers to ensure that routes are operated safely and efficiently.
  • Assisting Drivers: You will assist drivers with pre-trip and post-trip inspections, as well as with the loading and unloading of students.
  • Communicating with School Personnel: You will communicate with school personnel, students, and parents to ensure that our services meet their needs.
  • Attending Safety and Training Meetings: You will attend regular safety and training meetings to stay up-to-date on the latest procedures and protocols.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Good Verbal Communication Skills: You will need to be able to communicate effectively with students, drivers, and school personnel.
  • Attention to Detail: You will need to be able to pay attention to detail and ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
  • Early Morning Availability: You will need to be available to work early morning shifts.
  • Judgement/Problem-Solving Skills: You will need to be able to make sound judgements and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
