Job Description

In this role, you will play a crucial part in receiving donations at our donation trailer. Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Receiving donations with a positive and enthusiastic presence.
  • Organizing and placing all donations in the appropriate areas of the trailer while preserving their integrity and quality.
  • Providing welcoming conversation to donors and explaining our Corners of Your Field program and KARM donations.
  • Effectively telling the KARM Stores story and explaining our mission and values.
  • Issuing receipts for donations in a timely manner.
  • Using an iPad to take in and keep track of donations.
  • Leading and equipping team members by living out our Mission to Reveal, Tell & Provide, as well as carrying out our Core Values of being Trustworthy, Team-Minded, and Teachable.

Skills & Requirements

To excel in this position, you should possess:

  1. Able to write in legible, clear handwriting.
  2. A commitment to KARM Stores' mission and mission statement.
  3. Computer skills, including general typing skills and web browsing capabilities.
  4. The ability to interpret and follow various instructions and goals provided in written or oral form.
  5. Ability to stand for up to 100% of a standard work day.
  6. Lifting and bending – up to 75% of a standard work day.
  7. Heavy physical activity, requiring frequent strenuous activity and the ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
