About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse II to join our team in the Emergency Department at Alameda Hospital. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing emergency nursing care to patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and ADLs.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans to meet patient needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Supervise and mentor registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, and certified nursing assistants to promote a culture of excellence and professionalism.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid California RN license.
  • At least six months of experience as a Registered Nurse I or equivalent experience in a comparable acute-care setting.
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association for nurses in the Emergency Department.
  • PALS certification issued by the AHA American Heart Association for nurses in the Emergency Department.
