Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Petroleum Marketing Group. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers and provide a positive experience on an ongoing basis.
  • Cash Handling: Operate the cash register according to PMG standards, ensuring accurate record keeping and handling of cash, lottery management, and shift paperwork.
  • Daily Store Tasks: Execute daily store tasks with speed, accuracy, and efficiency, including sales floor merchandising, food service management, cooler merchandising, vendor check-ins, and communication of daily issues with management.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure PMG policies and procedures surrounding safety and operational excellence are executed, and perform work with integrity, honesty, and respect.
  • Support to Management: Provide support to management in other tasks and assignments on an ongoing basis.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Skills: Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner.
  • Cash Handling Experience: Previous experience handling cash, operating a cash register, and managing cash handling procedures.
  • Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior retail or sales experience preferred.
