We are seeking a skilled Communications Coordinator to join our team at Family Connections Centers. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to increase visibility and participation in our programs.

About the Role
  • Collaborate with program staff to develop clear, accurate, and engaging marketing materials, flyers, and outreach collateral
  • Draft and distribute high-quality e-newsletters, social media posts, press releases, and internal communications that effectively convey our message
  • Engage with programs by visiting sites to capture photos, videos, stories, and testimonials from participants, and maintain photo folders and ensure website and digital platforms are regularly updated with fresh materials
Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update FCC's website, social media platforms, and digital communications, developing campaigns and strategies to engage our audience and increase our reach and followers across all platforms
  • Coordinate and enhance volunteer engagement with FCC by collaborating with staff to promote positive volunteer experiences and develop new individual and corporate volunteer opportunities
  • Assist in the planning and outreach for FCC's large-scale community and fundraising events, working closely with the Development Team, volunteers, Board members, and partners to coordinate various logistical details and ensure successful execution
