Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Specialist to join our team at Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. As a Medical Laboratory Specialist, you will play a vital role in the patient care process by performing moderate and high complexity testing, analyzing and reviewing results, and reporting findings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including moderate and high complexity testing
  • Analyze and review test results, identifying any abnormalities or discrepancies
  • Report test results to healthcare providers, ensuring accurate and timely communication
  • Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
  • Champion safety, compliance, and quality control initiatives within the laboratory
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology or a related field
  • 1 year of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testing
  • Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including automated analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, and pipettes
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testing within area of specialty
