Job Summary:

Soliant Health is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team for the upcoming school year. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work with multiple caseloads based on your preference, collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create individualized plans to address students' specific communication goals, including developing and implementing strategies to promote communication development.
  • Provide Direct Therapy Services: Offer direct therapy services to students both individually and in group settings, using evidence-based practices to address a variety of speech and language disorders.
  • Collaborate with Educators and Parents: Work with teachers and other school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom environment, and provide consultation and support to parents/guardians regarding strategies to promote communication development at home.
  • Maintain Accurate Documentation: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of services provided and student progress, including documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress monitoring.
  • Participate in IEP Meetings: Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language needs, working collaboratively with educators and other professionals to develop and implement IEPs.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence: Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility for clinical fellowship (CFY).
  • State Licensure: Hold current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
