Medical Biller

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team at NY Otolaryngology PLLC. As a Medical Biller, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of insurance claims, maintaining patient confidentiality, and providing exceptional customer service.

• Process and manage insurance claims, including private insurance and Medicaid/Medicare
• Collect and verify patient information, including demographic and insurance details
• Communicate with patients, physicians' offices, and hospitals to obtain necessary documentation and records
• Enter accurate and complete billing and payment information into our system
• Follow up with patients and payments to ensure timely resolution
• Provide exceptional customer service, answering patient inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner

• Strong customer service skills and ability to work effectively with patients and healthcare providers
• Fluency in Chinese and English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in medical billing or coding, with knowledge of EMR systems and Epic or MDland preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
