You will work closely with our Executive Chef / Kitchen Manager and event coordinators to plan and execute events from start to finish. You will be responsible for reviewing assigned banquet staff functions, banquet menus, and room set-up prior to the scheduled event.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Planning: Work closely with our Executive Chef / Kitchen Manager and event coordinators to plan and execute events from start to finish.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure that appropriate quantities of china, glassware, silverware, linens, and other items are available for upcoming events.
  • Quality Control: Conduct random audits during functions to evaluate food and service.
  • Schedule Management: Regularly review banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events.
  • Safe Work Practices: Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job.
  • Age Requirements: Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
