We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN specializing in the Transplant ICU. This role involves providing exceptional care for critically ill patients, ensuring the highest standards of patient service.
Certification Requirements- Unit: Transplant ICU
- Patient Ratios: 2:1
- Equipment Proficiency: Ventilators, CRRT, A-line, Bipap, Flow-track, IV pumps
- EMR System: Meditech
- Provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients in the Transplant ICU.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort while delivering high-quality nursing services.
- Extensive experience in an ICU setting.
- Proficient in titrating intravenous drips.
- Experience managing patients on ventilators.
- Ability to care for patients requiring Bipap therapy.
- Night Shift - includes charge nurse responsibilities based on patient census.
- Report times are set for 0645/1845, with scheduled breaks for meals.
- Rotating weekends required.
- Unit Capacity: 10 beds
- Staffing: 4 staff members during day shifts (1 charge nurse, 3 RNs)
- Floating to other ICUs, PCU, and BMT as needed.
- ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
- Dress Code: Blue scrubs required.
- Candidates lacking essential skills will not be considered.
- Preference will be given to candidates with CRRT and Transplant experience.
- The ideal candidate will possess a compassionate demeanor, be a team player, and maintain a good rapport with physicians.
