Job Summary

The Glenridge is seeking a skilled Utility Aide to join our team in the Healthcare & Kiltie Cafe. As a Utility Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen areas, food preparation areas, and other assigned spaces.

Responsibilities
  • Wash and sanitize all pots, pans, utensils, cutlery items, and equipment to ensure a clean and safe environment for our members.
  • Perform daily and weekly sanitary programs to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Keep the dumpster area clean and tidy, and ensure that all trash and recyclables are disposed of properly.
  • Follow safety regulations and report any hazardous conditions or accidents to the Chef.
  • Participate in-service training and maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, policies, and procedures regarding food service practices.
  • Maintain confidentiality of members' PHI (Protected Health Information) and medical records information.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • One (1) year experience as a utility aide preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be empathetic, enthusiastic, and have an affinity for working with a diverse senior population.
