Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at the Main Campus. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical imaging technology.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiology exams and fluoroscopic procedures on patients of all ages.
- Produce images of optimal quality for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.
- Provide verbal and written instructions to patients and families on procedures as needed.
- Assist in scheduling patients and monitor and determine priority of patients.
- Ensure patients' safety and comfort during and after the exam.
- Demonstrate the care and operation of radiography equipment according to technical specifications and applications.
- Assist Radiologists, physicians and surgeons with procedures.
- Have knowledge of acquiring, archiving, transmitting, and printing images via PACS.
- Have knowledge of billing via RIS.
- Maintain documentation requirements to ensure that all technical data is entered timely and accurately.
- Provide instruction/mentoring to new hires and radiology students.
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
- Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and in good standing.
- Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Knowledge of anatomy and related pathologic processes.
- One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist.
Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily.
Personal Protective EquipmentFollows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
