Job Title: Mammography Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at CrossMed Allied. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing mammography procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Job Summary:

This is a travel assignment for a Mammography Technologist to work in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The assignment will last for 13 weeks, with 36 hours of work per week. The shift will be 12 hours long, and the job type is travel.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform mammography procedures, including breast imaging and biopsy
  • Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare team members
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
  • Graduate from an accredited school
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
  • Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, pushing, bending, and pulling
  • Communication and collaboration skills
