Position Title: Bartender
Location: Parker, CO
Role Overview:
The Bartender is accountable for managing beverage inventory, ensuring precise pouring of drinks, maintaining the cleanliness of the bar area, and delivering a service quality that aligns with Members' expectations. The role emphasizes the importance of consistently applying the Three Steps of Service to enhance the overall guest experience.
Reporting Structure:
This position reports directly to the Food and Beverage Director/Service Director, with indirect oversight from the General Manager and Private Events Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold ClubCorp service standards as outlined in the Food and Beverage Service training program.
- Prepare the bar area at the beginning of each shift, including setting up bottles, garnishes, juices, glassware, and ice.
- Regularly inspect the bar for cleanliness and ensure all necessary supplies are readily available.
- Manage liquor inventory and ensure accurate pouring of beverages.
- Possess extensive knowledge of various liquors, beers, and wines offered at the establishment.
- Assist in serving food and beverages to Members and guests at the bar, adhering to ClubCorp service standards.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the a la carte menu, including daily specials and features.
- Accurately fulfill Member and guest orders in a timely manner.
- Recognize Members by name and provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
- Complete daily assignments and side work to meet Club standards, including maintaining organized work areas and sanitizing surfaces.
- Support colleagues and participate as a team member to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Report any Member or guest complaints to management promptly and practice effective service recovery.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Food and Beverage Director, Service Director, or Private Events Director.
Additional Expectations:
Due to the dynamic nature of the company's operations, employees may be required to assist in various functions and support colleagues as needed. Adherence to all company, club, and departmental policies and procedures is essential.
Teamwork and Conduct:
Demonstrate strong teamwork skills and maintain composure under pressure while managing multiple tasks. Attendance at all Service Training Meetings is required, along with maintaining safe working habits and good conduct throughout the Club.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma is preferred, along with previous experience in Food and Beverage service. An alcohol and food safety awareness certificate is required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions are essential. A commitment to ethical work standards and comfort in both indoor and outdoor environments is expected.
