Job Summary:
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in the success of our oral surgery practice. You will be responsible for preparing for and performing complex clinical duties, including preparing operatories, consult rooms, and trays for procedures, as well as assisting doctors with surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare operatories, consult rooms, and trays for procedures
- Assist doctors with surgical procedures
- Prepare and recover surgical patients
- Take digital x-rays and document patient information
- Review post-operative instructions with patients
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with anatomy and medical and dental terminology
- Current CPR certification (preferred)
- Radiation Safety certification (required)
- Successful completion of Anesthesia Assistants course and examination (after hire)
