Key Responsibilities:
  • Build Rapport with Donors: Establish strong relationships with donors to ensure their overall satisfaction and comfort throughout the donation process.
  • Selection of Suitable Donors: Conduct thorough physical examinations and take medical histories of donors to ensure they meet the necessary criteria for plasma donation.
  • Confidentiality and Data Protection: Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of donor and staff information, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Donor Education and Awareness: Provide donors with essential information regarding potential hazards and administer consent forms as necessary.
  • Donor Counseling and Support: Offer guidance and support to donors regarding their health assessment results and provide counseling on unacceptable test results.
  • Employee Training and Development: Assist in the training and coaching of employees on medical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed, and administer the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program.
Requirements:
  • Education and Certification: Be educated and currently certified/licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment and according to state requirements.
  • CPR Certification: Hold current CPR certification.
