Nurse Specialist Acute Care Float Pool

If so, we invite you to join our team as a Registered Nurse Acute Care Float Pool at Las Palmas Medical Center.
About the RoleAs a Registered Nurse Acute Care Float Pool, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a variety of settings, including emergency care, cardiac care, and pediatric care. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care, promote positive outcomes, and advance the practice of nursing.
Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to independently deliver nursing care to patients
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Float to various units and departments as needed to support staffing and patient care needs
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum of three years of RN experience with a minimum of two years specialty experience for those floating to specialty areas
- Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas or Compact Nursing License
- BLS for Healthcare Providers Required Upon Hire
- NIH Stroke Certification Preferred
